For my latest assignment at RMIT we were tasked to create a retro-futuristic hero asset, with restraints on colour palette, texture resolutions, art style and polycount. Complying with the brief I created this hovercar vehicle inspired by old 60’s space-age automotive design.

Once I was happy with the overall shape i’d sketched, I modelled the vehicle in Maya, and textured it in Substance Painter, before bringing it into engine (as pictured below in the GIF) as proof of concept.
