Leyhaven


This was an interactive environment project in which the player can explore the magical town of Leyhaven from a third person perspective. I created the 3D assets in Maya and Zbrush, and hand painted them in Photoshop. I then brought them into unity and coded movement/camera scripts as well as audio and effects. I opted to go for the hand-painted textures to keep the game relatively low poly whilst still providing a characterful aesthetic.

Here you can see the original concept sketch that I based the 3D work on, as well as a snippet of the concepting process and 2D painted render for one of the weapon assets.
