Batman—
For this version of Batman I drew some inspiration from both the Christian Bale and Ben Affleck portrayals in film, and the Arkham game series. This was painted as a commission. I wanted the scene to feel dark without losing too much detail, so I used a dark blue palette with some cold lighting from the Bat Signal as well as some moonlight. I also chose a strong pose and an upward angle to make sure he looked imposing.
